    Wow, going out until Christmas it looks mainly dry. Maybe some rain after Christmas but almost none until then. This is some strange La Nina. But I still think it will get very interesting around here in January. In the meantime I”m enjoying the crisp sunny days. Merry Christmas to all you fellow weather enthusiasts. Happy New Year as well.

    no snow today! Southerly winds and temps well above freezing below 1,500-2,000ft. Not even enough evaporative cooling. The precip it just to light. Pretty lame!

      Well above? Where you getting your info at? Tower temps are all barely above freezing. Salem and Eugene still pretty chilly at 40 and close to heat of the day.

    I think the only way we’ll see snow tonight is through some kind of suprise stronger-than-predicted out flow and a good ole’ fashioned wet-bulb. Short of that it’s sprinkles for everyone!

      Only if you’re a licensed HAM, and only if you obtained at least your General Class license prior to the change back in 2007 dropping the Code requirement.

      BTW, the auto-formatting on WordPress made that extremely difficult to decipher, but I got it! o_O

      Lol…yeah sorry bout that….it took me a while too. Here’s to driving the Intrepid across the frozen Willamette in January!!! Maybe I should’ve said “it’ll snow in PDX when the Blazers are serious contenders again!!!”

    I use both FB and Twitter, but Twitter is my preference. The Twitter feed doesn’t draw me in for killing of time like FB can, but I keep informed of what I’m interested in. Fox12 Weather tweets forward to SMS on my phone, so that does draw me in… but that’s not “wasting time”! 0;)

    I was an FB user until I found personal information I never authorized for anyone to view in the public domain that could only have escaped via FB.
    I had my account deleted.
