The next 16 days looks warm to hot. Not a big heat wave but nice. Mainly 80,s with a 90 here and there. And lots of sunny days and starry nights. Hooray. Peace.

  2. Forecast bust last night. NWS was calling for at most 0.10″ of rain, PSCZ kicked into high gear and I got 0.35″. Now at 1.1″ and counting for the month.

I didn’t get anything here that night. My count for the month so far is 1.22 inches. If we get no more measurable precipitation for July , it’ll be right within the “normal” amount category.

Foooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooourty nine! It was just 56F a little over an hour ago and the heat is on light. Happy October 19th! Halloween is just a few weeks aw……………………..wait a minute!

Yesterday was sure cloudy and cool. Showers in the dusk/evening hours produced some fog that lasted for about an hour. I also saw a flock of geese yesterday, which, I dont know how often that happens during summertime… Anyways, we are gonna be looking at some more summertime-like weather for the weekend. Sure been missing that for the first half of July. Weather is turning back to normal on Sunday! 🙂

It’s still quite windy here today, but with sunny skies. We’re not quite out of the woods (so to speak) yet, as showers are forecast for this afternoon, but it looks like after today, summer shifts into overdrive.

    • Today was surprisingly windy. PSCZ is giving me a good soaking tonight.

And I found a buyer for my place on Bainbridge today, which means I’ll be able to make good on the contingent offer I made on a place in Bellingham. Fraser Outflow Central, here I come!

This must be like a typical summer day in Anchorage is. It’s nice not having the vegetation stressed out by the heat.

  7. Roland Derksen says:

If I didn’t know the date, I’d say are having a typical November day here today (okay- maybe it’s a bit too warm for November): Overcast with rain this morning, quite breezy and even saw some fog. However, from here on in, the weather will make a gradual return to summer.
