Thunderstorms In Metro Area

1pm Sunday…

As expected it’s turning into a wild weather day for some.  An unstable atmosphere overhead with plenty of morning sunbreaks and “heating” has allowed a few thunderstorms to pop up.  Generally they are moving from southwest to northeast.   This IS the type of pattern where we can get a funnel cloud so keep an eye to the sky…otherwise enjoy the downpours and show!

We had some thunderstorms go through close to 2pm. I took a picture of some flooding at the Wood Village Walmart and some interesting cloud formations just now. I’ll upload them soon.

I got home close to 4pm and we started having some really heavy rain and saw this cloud formation.

Cat had been freaking out for about an hour and then the wind picked up, so I just went out on the balcony and BOOOOOOMMM! We are getting a MAJOR thunder and lightning show in East Vancouver Mill Plain/SE 177th! Yowza!
