Thunderstorms Popping Up This Evening

6pm Tuesday…

Marja Portland Earth Design Day

As expected, showers and thunderstorms are popping up west of the Cascades early this evening.  That’s due to a weather disturbance moving overhead.  Anyone could see a thunderstorm west of the Cascades then next 2-3 hours.  So far most of the action has been on the west side of the Willamette Valley.

Spring is here and that includes days like this with showers and sunbreaks…sometimes only a few minutes apart!

At least it was warmer today, with the south side of the metro area making it into the 60s while the cool east wind kept Troutdale 10 degrees cooler.

Looks like winter like weather continues in the Cascades. Snowlevel getting as low as 2500 feet. My latest snow was in April of 2007 with 4″.

A little excitement in Milwaukie last night:

What started as watching a lightning storm suddenly turned into stumbling across a structure fire!

Little bit of language, sorry… ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Last night and today I never heard or saw any stray albino donkeys so I guess that was short and sweet.
