    There was still some very light snow here in Aloha near 198th and TV Hiway at 10 pm. 1 1/2 inches of snow total.

    We have about 3″ more in some areas due to blowing snow. It stopped completely between 9-10 pm. This evening in Oregon City.

    Mark – thank you! I have been following you ever since you started on air as a young lad! I DID listen to you and took your advice. I headed home from downtown PDX to Milwaukie at 1 pm and made it in about 25 minutes. One of my kiddos was an hour late getting home. I wish the schools would have listened to you too!

    Brownsville….freezing rain all day and now we’ve had a sleet/snow mix for the last couple hours. The sound of the sleet reminds me of a hail storm. It’s really cool watching this mix with the sleet coming down at a fast velocity with the large snowflakes slowly coming down at the same time. Everything is white including the roads with approximately an 3/4″ on top of a sheet of ice.

    Husband left at Around 2:30 and headed home on I 5 toward Salem
    6:46 and not home yet. Called at 6:50 and he said worst spot is grade around 205 exit. People spinning out.

    We are in SE Salem, and our snowfall so far is between 4.5″-5″ depending on where you measure. It just turned from heavy snow to a light dusting at the moment.
