Snow Totals: Storm #3 Saturday

Time to tell us how much snow you have.  We are looking for 3 bits of info…

1. Location (City or area)

2. NEW SNOW TODAY ONLY

3. How much you have on the ground now

4. If you have only had freezing rain or rain today, I would love to know that too.

Leave all other discussion on previous posts.

    NW Corvallis:
Measured 18 inches last night before bed. Didn’t see any snow today but did have a small coating of ice overnight and a solid coating of ice from 9-3 or so today. Probably .2 inches of ice overall. Snow is really compacted now with a crunchy top and everything is starting to drip.

4 miles north of Kelso, WA. Nothing but snow all day ,and still snowing hard at 6:39 p.m. 3 inches of new snow today. 8 inch total. 2 inches either evaporated, or compressed. 31.6F

  9. Southeast Vancouver:
    About 2″ today
    About 8-9″ total
Heavy freezing rain right now, snow on the roads got pretty thick glaze already; cars and trees are glazed as well, about 1/4″ on cars, I’d say.

  10. merwoman says:

At 4 p.m., in Springdale, totals: bare to 1″ in areas with heavy wind exposure; 7″ in areas with moderate wind exposure; 11″ in areas with light wind exposure.

Don’t know the new snow amounts because I didn’t measure yesterday.

No rain/freezing rain so far, but we have been getting a little bit of sleet mixed in with the snow for the last hour or so.

Molalla (outside city limits near HWY 213) Melted off to 5 inches of crunchy snow left, We had snow today, ice pellets and now water dripping off of trees and rain gutters. It is now a misty rain, roads are broken up and drive-able at this time.

  16. TimC says:

    Ocean Park, WA
Snowing big fat flakes on and off for the past couple hours.
    1/2″ accumulated.
    None from before.

Went for a drive on the beach in the snow. First time ever for doing that. Hey, I had to say I did it.

  17. AdamInAumsville says:

    Aumsville
    0″ new snow
    10″ on the ground
Sleet a good chunk of the morning, freezing rain the past several hours. About 1/4″ of ice accumulation.

  18. We’re only a mile or two from the mouth of the Gorge and the wind has been intense the last several days. We have white out conditions right now and 3 F wind chill. Still mostly snow, but with some ice pellets beginning to get mixed in.

We’ve had a lot of snow, but I can’t say for sure how much the total is. The wind has whipped the snow around so much that its close to 6 feet deep in the drainage gully in the backyard, but we also have bare pavement in places. Outside the back door where there is some shielding from the wind its about 8-10 inches. At the end of our driveway it’s about 2 feet deep.

  19. Nicola Hogberg says:

Still snowing in Battle Ground. I measured 11 inches at 4.30.

  20. Rick says:

Light FZR in Bethany. My windows facing NE are glazing over.

    • B1900 Pilot says:

Agreed, just transitioned to -FZR within the past twenty minutes up near Springville and Kaiser Road.
