Somehow I slept through it…I must be slipping in my old age. Portland had a peak gust of 45 mph around 3am with the cold front; the strongest wind gust in over a year here. That doesn’t mean a whole lot since our storms have been very weak the past few years. Here are some other speeds around the metro area:
Luckily I see very few power outages, less than 10,000 out of power this morning. We’ll see more strong gusts as heavy showers roll through the next few hours.
