I’ve been busy the last two days so no new posts. We are shooting new weather promos (involving lots of water), and I was down in Woodburn and Salem today doing school visits before work even started…some long days!
Not much going on weatherwise. Cold 850mb temps this weekend and again later next week mean snow is possible down to the 1,000-1,500′ elevations…maybe. That’s if moisture lingers later Saturday night and early Sunday morning and again later in the week. Otherwise I sure don’t see a setup for snow to lower elevations and models show warmer weather again near the end of the next week and beyond. Check out the 00z GFS ensemble chart, it shows 850mb temps down around -6 during those two cooler periods and then the milder weather starting next Friday:
Having 3 days above 60 has been quite nice this week! It definitely feels like spring this March compared to the past few. And we are now slightly ABOVE average for the first 14 days of the month…ahhh.
