Portland got .04″ this morning…how exciting. If it was anytime between November and April we’d call that a dry day. And Salem, you folks just barely squeaked out .01″ to end your dry spell of 68 days!
This means our dry spell ended at 51 days, making it the 8th longest dry spell in Portland’s history. Here’s the info from the Portland NWS:

For the record, this does nothing for our lawns and gardens, it just makes the air fresher and keeps the dust down on my driveway for a couple of days. Another long period of dry weather and sunshine is on the way so enjoy the cool air today and tomorrow morning.
