Brrr! This is the view up at Government Camp this morning:
A good 1/2″ to 1″ of snow, or at least that would be my estimate from 50 feet away, not the best way to measure snow. June snow is rare, but not unheard of up at 4,000′. 1.2″ fell in 2010 and 2.0″ in 2008. Only twice has more than 2″ fallen in the month. Back in June 1995, 11 inches fell, and 9″ in June 1954.
