Mark Nelson, The Dalles,Oregon got snow on Christmas Day at five am and was snowing all day and today it is starting to melt but slowly I would say at least 2 inches here it is not even to the top of my foot. I hear we are to get more snow on Friday here is that true? Gilliam County got eight inches in Condon Oregon is what my grandpa said tonight and still more snow falling there and in Fossil Oregon also! He is plowed in at his place but is not going any where till it melts he does not even want to walk in it!

Just as an update to my post in the previous blog, I’m in east The Dalles at about 260′ and ended up with a total snow depth of 1.2″. Now, at 1900, it’s lightly raining and the temp. is 32.2º, with a very heavy and wet .5″ on the ground.
